What it actually feels like to have a doctor who knows you.
Most adults have experienced the same thing: a fifteen-minute appointment, a different provider each time, a referral that disappears into the void. You leave with a prescription but no sense that anyone has the full picture.
It doesn’t have to be that way. Primary care works when there’s time to listen, a physician who remembers your history, and someone in your corner when things get complicated.
This practice was designed around that. Longer visits, the same physician every time, and care that continues between appointments — not just when you show up sick.
Care that keeps up
with your life.
Your concerns get time. A new symptom isn’t squeezed into the last two minutes of an appointment — it’s the reason you’re here, and Dr. Hayton treats it that way.
When you need a specialist, we make the referral and follow through. When your medications change, someone reviews the whole picture. When something comes up between visits, you’re not left searching for answers alone.
This is medicine as it should work — a physician who knows your story, your priorities, and your health goals, and who stays involved.
Telehealth is part of this practice. Many concerns can be addressed by video or phone. We’ll let you know what works best for your situation — in-person isn’t always necessary.

Not sure if it fits?
If you’re not certain whether your concern is the right fit for this practice, call and ask. We’d rather answer the question before you schedule than have you guess. Most things that belong in primary care belong here.
Care that starts with enough time
The structure of this practice is different from what most patients have experienced. That difference starts at your very first appointment.
One hour to start
Your first visit is sixty minutes. That’s time for Dr. Hayton to understand your full health history — not just the reason for today’s visit. Bring your records, your medication list, and your questions.
Same physician, every time
Follow-up visits aren’t rushed. You’ll see Dr. Hayton at every appointment — not whoever happens to be available. Continuity isn’t a feature here; it’s the model.
Coordination that continues
Specialist referrals get followed through. Test results get reviewed. If something changes in your care, you hear about it. The relationship doesn’t pause between appointments.
We work with most insurance — and with patients who don’t have any
This practice is built to serve working-age adults across the full spectrum of coverage situations. If you’re not sure whether your plan is accepted, call before you schedule — we’re happy to verify.
Employer & individual plans
Commercial insurance credentialing is in process ahead of our August 24, 2026 opening. We expect to be in-network with Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross of Idaho (BCI), Regence BlueShield of Idaho, Humana, Molina, and UnitedHealthcare, along with the St. Alphonsus Health Alliance (SAHA) and Saint Luke’s Health Partners (SLHP) networks — but participation is not yet final. Please confirm your specific plan with us when you schedule and we’ll verify.
Medicaid & managed Medicaid
We accept Idaho Medicaid. Adults enrolled in Idaho Medicaid are welcome as patients without restriction. If you have questions about which Medicaid plan you have and whether it’s accepted, give us a call.
Transparent rates
Self-pay patients receive a courtesy discount at the time of service. Our fee schedule is based on published Medicare rates, and we will always tell you the estimated cost before your visit.
