How I practice

I came to Idaho in 2011 for residency and have practiced here since finishing in 2014 — hospital medicine, large outpatient groups, community clinics, and the VA. Across all of it, one thing became clear: good medicine takes time, and it takes one physician who knows the whole picture and stays with it.

Good medical care requires time, continuity, and accountability. Patients deserve a physician who understands their full picture, explains decisions clearly, and takes responsibility for coordinating care across a complex healthcare system.

This practice is my answer to that. I reserve an hour for new patients and build follow-ups the same way, so neither of us is watching the clock. Not every visit needs the whole hour, and that's fine. I keep the panel small enough that you can usually be seen the same week, and I talk to your specialists directly so the coordination happens on our end.

I'll tell you what I think and why. If I don't know something, I'll say so and go find out. If you need a specialist, I'll help you get there and stay involved after you do.

The practice

Small, independent, and staying that way.

Physician-owned

Not part of a hospital system. Decisions about your care get made in this office, by the person providing it.

A capped panel

The schedule is built around real visit lengths rather than volume targets — which is what makes the hour possible.

Same-week openings

Most patients are seen within a few days of calling.
