Our commitment

HPC Medical Group PLLC is committed to making haytonprimarycare.com accessible to people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

This site serves adults across a wide age range, including many patients managing chronic illness or disability. Accessibility is not a compliance checkbox — it's a prerequisite for any of them to use the website independently.

What we've done

• Semantic HTML throughout — proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, and list structure
• Body text set at a minimum of 18px with contrast ratios meeting or exceeding AA
• All interactive elements operable by keyboard, with visible focus indicators
• A skip-navigation link to bypass the header and reach main content directly
• Touch targets sized to at least 44 by 44 pixels
• Reduced-motion preferences respected — all animation is disabled
• Text that reflows without horizontal scrolling down to a 320px viewport
• Images carry explicit dimensions so the page does not shift as it loads

Known limitations

The map is provided by Google and its accessibility is outside our control. It does not load unless you ask for it, and the full address is always available as text. Scheduling and payment are handled on third-party platforms with their own accessibility statements — if you have difficulty with either, call us and we will complete the task with you by phone.
